The State of MA will pay up to $810 to offset high property tax bills, 2003, and the  credit is even available 
on back taxes for 2002 and 2001. 

The tax break is called the "Circuit Breaker" because it is triggered like an electrical circuit breaker, 
when property taxes (& certain water and sewer bills) exceed 10% of a Senior's income.
